The complete WebToolVerse catalog

This page is the full index of every utility on the site — 104tools spanning seven categories. Use the search box to find a tool by name or by what it does (try “compress”, “QR”, “merge PDF”, “hash”), or filter by category to narrow the grid down to a related set. Every entry links to a one-purpose tool page with a description, controls, an FAQ, and a privacy note explaining exactly what the tool does and does not do.

How the catalog is organised

Tools are grouped by the kind of file or task they operate on. Image covers compression, resizing, format conversion (including HEIC from iPhone), background removal, watermarking, EXIF stripping, and a photo editor. PDF handles merging, splitting, compression, password protection, watermarking, OCR, and conversions to and from Word and images. QR generates, customises, scans, and batch-exports QR codes for URLs, Wi-Fi, vCards, and plain text. Developer includes JSON, code, XML, and YAML formatters, regex testers, JWT and SAML decoders, hash generators, diff checkers, a cron-expression builder, and fake-data generators. Text covers word and character counting, case conversion, line sorting, deduplication, find-and-replace, lorem ipsum, readability, and diff. SEOgroups meta-tag, schema, robots.txt, OG-preview, title-tag, and keyword-density tools. Productivity rounds it out with timers, calculators, password generators, invoice and resume builders, signature pad, and a notepad that auto-saves locally.

Everything runs in the page you're looking at

No tool here uploads your files. The merger uses pdf-lib in WebAssembly to stitch PDFs without ever sending bytes to a server. The image compressor runs the canvas API and a Web Worker pool to parallelise re-encoding across multiple cores. The hash generator uses Web Crypto's SubtleCrypto for SHA-256, SHA-512, and PBKDF2. Even the OCR tools run Tesseract.js compiled to WASM. This means there are no per-file size caps imposed by an upload pipeline (only your device's memory), there is no queue, and there is no third-party storing copies of your data. Close the tab and the work is gone.

When to bookmark this page

Power users tend to bookmark /all-tools rather than the homepage because it skips the hero and search and lands you directly in the filterable grid. The category tabs are sticky-friendly on long sessions, and the search filters both name and description, so a query like “heic” finds the HEIC-to-JPEG converter even if you forget the exact tool name. If you frequently move between two or three related tools — say, compress → resize → convert — open the category page (e.g. /image-tools) instead; category pages have additional workflow shortcuts that this index page does not.

Pricing, accounts, and limits

Every tool is free to use without a sign-up, watermarks on output, daily quota, or feature gates. The site is funded entirely by advertising — there is one ad unit on the homepage, one on each category page, and one on each tool page. Practical limits are governed by your browser: very large PDFs (200+ MB) and very high-resolution images (8K+ at full quality) can hit the 4 GB tab memory ceiling on 64-bit Chrome before they finish processing. Each tool page lists the specific limits we've verified for it. For routine work — typical photos, multi-page PDFs, everyday QR codes, JSON payloads up to a few megabytes — none of those limits matter.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools really free, or is there a paid tier?

There is no paid tier. Every feature on every tool is available without payment, signup, or quota. The site is funded by ads, which is why each page carries one ad unit.

Do I need to create an account?

No. The site has no login system. Anything that needs to persist across sessions (recently used tools, online notepad drafts) is stored in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device.

What's the largest file I can process?

It depends on the tool and your device. Tab memory on desktop Chrome caps around 4 GB, so a 1 GB PDF or a 200 MP image starts to push limits. For typical files (photos under 50 MB, PDFs under 200 pages, JSON under 50 MB) there's no practical ceiling.

Can I use these tools on my phone?

Yes — every tool is responsive and works in mobile Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Some compute-heavy tools (OCR, image enhancement, PDF compression at high settings) run noticeably slower on phones than on a laptop, but they do work.

Will my files be uploaded or stored anywhere?

No. Every tool processes locally in your browser tab. There is no server-side processing pipeline behind any of this — see our privacy policy for the full list of what is and is not collected.

How do I find a tool if I don't know its name?

Use the search box at the top of this page. It matches tool names and descriptions, so a query like 'remove background' or 'shrink PDF' will surface the right tool. The category tabs are useful when you know the broad area but not the specific tool.

Can I get the catalog via API?

Not yet. The tool catalog is intentionally a static list at this stage. If you have a use case for an API or a downloadable index, contact us.
